About Us

Built in 1911 then stunningly reimagined and gut-rehabbed by famed Elements Architectural Group in 2014, The long hall is a hidden gem amid the bustling Milwaukee Avenue in Logan square. The place combines original elements like exposed bricks and tin ceiling with exciting modern touches like floor-to-ceiling accordion glass front doors, modern bar area and ample light.

The owners Alina and Alex started the business in 2019 almost accidentally, falling in love with the venue the moment they walked in. Both have full time jobs (as an anesthesiologist and a math professor respectively), but now have a great team of decorators and other helpers to run the events smoothly and efficiently.

It’s the little things…and they’re what we do best.Every event deserves big love.

Hosted a first birthday here – Alina and The Long Hall team were absolutely fantastic. Alina was extremely responsive to email and all of our questions and requests. The space is incredible! All of our guests were asking about the space and how to host future events there. The Long Hall is great because so much is included with their packages. We got the whole space, chairs, tables, and all the amazing decor (including an enormous amount of balloons). In addition, all we did was email Alina requests based on other photos we had seen of the space and all the decor was done upon our arrival. Would definitely recommend this space for anyone looking to host an event in the city.

I recently had my baby shower at this location and it was perfect. The decorations were gorgeous, Alina was very accommodating and responsive every time I had a question or concern, and the entire process of reserving the space was easy and without complication. I gave general ideas as to what I was looking for in my jungle-themed baby shower and I felt it was executed perfectly. So many of my guests commented on how good everything looked. This is perfect for gatherings around 50 people and the space is versatile and can be used for a casual or more upscale event. Because it is on a busy Logan Square street, parking is paid and can be a bit of a challenge, but it did not put a damper on our celebration one bit. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to have a small to medium gathering!

Rented this venue for my baby shower party up to 30+ people. LOVE LOVE LOVE. The owners were wonderful and the space was amazing! Smooth communication, quick response, and I received great recommendations/advice from the owner. Alina was very helpful in providing any assistances I needed. The owners even decorated the space with some of their in-house decor and uplighting. The space is spacious and there was a ping pong table – the guests loved it. Too bad it was winter time during the baby shower or else I would have utilized the backyard space as well. It’s beautiful. The venue is great for small to large gathering. Sound system was easy to use and of great quality. They have a virtual 3D floor plan that was fun to view and use to check out the space for visuals if you can’t make it to the space to check it out prior. Would definitely recommend and come back again for another event!

I rented this space this past Friday for 5 hours for a private dinner for my husbands birthday with 17 other of his close friends and family. I just wanted to say how perfect is this space! ncredible space! Incredible host! We rented the space for a baby shower, and we were so impressed with everything! The location is perfect; convenient for everyone (accessible by walking, train, or car). The courtyard is so sunny, and large enough to host a few dozen people. The main hall is enormous, with doors that can fully open to let the breeze through. Decorations are tasteful and eye-popping. Bathrooms and kitchen areas were well-equipped and spotless. The host is lovely and responds immediately to questions. Overall, this is the perfect venue! Don’t hesitate and book today!
